Molecular Mass: The recombinant mouse COLEC10/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimer. The reduced monomer comprises 419 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 47 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 53 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation.
Formulation: Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4.

COLEC10 Protein Description

COLEC10 is a member of the C-lectin family. Members of this family possess collagen-like sequences and carbohydrate recognition domains. The other members of this family are secreted proteins and bind to carbohydrate antigens on microorganisms facilitating their recognition and removal. This gene product is a cytosolic protein, a characteristic that suggests that it may have different biological functions than other C-lectins.
