The recombinant human RAB27B comprises 234 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 26.6 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 29 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.

RAB27B蛋白背景綜述
RAB27B is a a regulator of vesicle exocytosis. It delivers proinvasive signals for increased invasiveness, tumor size, and metastasis of various estrogen receptor (ER)-positive breast cancer cell lines, both in vitro and in vivo. In human breast cancer specimens, RAB27B associates with a low degree of differentiation and the presence of lymph node metastasis in ER-positive breast cancer. RAB27B belongs to the Rab protein family which are composed of prenylated, membrane-bound proteins involved in vesicular fusion and trafficking.
