The recombinant heterodimer of human ITGA4&ITGB1 comprises 1727 (978+749) amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 191.9 (108.6+83.3) KDa. As a result of glycosylation, the apparent molecular mass of human ITGA4&ITGB1 heterodimer is approximately 145 and 116 KDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
緩沖液: Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4.

ITGA4 & ITGB1 Heterodimer蛋白背景綜述

Integrins alpha-4, also known as ITGA4, belongs to the ntegrin alpha chain family. Integrins are ubiquitously expressed adhesion molecules. They are cell-surface receptors that exist as heterodimers of alpha and beta subunits. Integrins alpha-4 associates with either beta 1 chain or beta 7 chain. Integrin beta-1, also known as ITGB1, is a single-pass type I membrane protein which belongs to the integrin beta chain family. It contains one VWFA domain. ITGA4&ITGB1 and ITGA4&ITGB7 are receptors for fibronectin. They recognize one or more domains within the alternatively spliced CS-1 and CS-5 regions of fibronectin. They are also receptors for VCAM1. ITGA4&ITGB1 recognizes the sequence Q-I-D-S in VCAM1.
