Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose and mannitol are added as protectants before lyophilization. Specific concentrations are included in the hardcopy of COA.

CART / CARTPT蛋白背景綜述

CART, also known as CARTPT, belongs to the CART family. CART plays a critical role in appetite suppression, cell survival, thermoregulation, glucose sensing, stimulation of hormone secretion, as well as for the regulatory function of the islets of Langerhans. CART is a satiety factor closely associated with the actions of leptin and neuropeptide Y. It also functions as a anorectic peptide which inhibits both normal and starvation-induced feeding and completely blocks the feeding response induced by neuropeptide Y and regulated by leptin in the hypothalamus. CART promotes neuronal development and survival in vitro.
