The recombinant rat LILRA5/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimer. The reduced monomer comprises 473 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 52.8 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 63 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
緩沖液: Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH7.4.
Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose and mannitol are added as protectants before lyophilization. Specific concentrations are included in the hardcopy of COA.

LILRA5蛋白背景綜述

LILRA5, belongs to the leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LIR) family. LIR family members are known to have activating and inibitory functions in leukocytes. They are also known as CD85, ILTs and LIR, and can exert immunomodulatory effects on a wide range of immune cells. ILT-11 contains 2 Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains. It can be detected n tissues of the hematopoietic system, including bone marrow, spleen, lymph node and peripheral leukocytes. Crosslink of ILT-11 on the surface of monocytes has been shown to induce calcium flux and secretion of several proinflammatory cytokines, which suggests the roles of this protein in triggering innate immune responses.
