The recombinant human ANGPTL4/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimer. The reduced monomer comprises 501 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 55.5 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 65 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation.
緩沖液: Lyophilized from sterile 50 mM Tris-Citrate, 0.3 M NaCl, pH 6.5.

ANGPTL4, also known as ANGPTL2, is a protein with hypoxia-induced expression in endothelial cells. It may play a role in several cancers and it also has been shown to prevent the metastatic process by inhibiting vascular activity as well as tumor cell motility and invasiveness. ANGPTL4 is directly involved in regulating glucose homeostasis, lipid metabolism, and insulin sensitivity. In response to hypoxia, the unprocessed form of the protein accumulates in the subendothelial extracellular matrix (ECM). ANGPTL4 inhibits proliferation, migration, and tubule formation of endothelial cells and reduces vascular leakage. It may act as a regulator of angiogenesis and modulate tumorigenesis.
